I need to find a solution to affix a prompter to my Libec LS-60 tripod. Basically, what I think I need is the following:
-2 extra-long camera-threaded screws to go through ls-60 plate and the bottom of the prompter bracket. I've tried looking for regular screws that can accomplish this, but run into the issue of the screw head not being correctly shaped for the plate and thus digging into the metal, or the head is too tall, preventing the plate from being able to be mounted on the tripod.
-extra-long camera-threaded screw to go through top of prompter bracket and into camera
seems that the standard 1/4x20 camera screw doesn't come in any other lengths other than whatever the standard is (20mm, I guess?). Is there any source for longer screws, or is there a better solution that I'm overlooking for this setup?
thanks
