Hi!
I have two questions, using ProspectHD v 3.1.1 build 138:
1. I'm using HDLink and Decklink Multibridge Pro to capture 1080i material coming off my Canon XL H1 in a studio setup. So far I've been using the HD1080 25PsF 10-bit 4:2:2 setting in the Video Format dropdown and Automatic in the Frame Format. Since the XL H1 only outputs interlaced over the HD-SDI output, it works as expected: it captures fields. And I'm happy with that, as it gives flexibility in post when delivering in SD.
I guess my question (to Cineform?) is this: Why is there no HD1080 50i 10-bit 4:2:2 setting in the Video Format drop down and/or should I even care? ;)
2. Also to Cineform: I just upgraded to Prospect HD. I have a RED ONE on order and am planning to use Cineform/Premiere as my editing platform. Should I have upgraded to 2K instead to get RAW-functionality? I will finish at 1080, 720 or SD PAL most of the time, but would love to have "raw control" inside both PPro and AE. Or is this not how it works? If I upgraded to the "wrong version", will you be able to "transfer" my credit to the other upgrade?
Best regards,
