Thanks, Lisa Inexpensive as in $6,599? Fujinon 13x. Or where you thinking a $199 screw on adapter? Lisa Bennett October 1st, 2007, 04:20 PM Hi Alex, Actually, if there is a screw on adapter that would work with my hd100u lense, then for this one project, it would work. Thanks, Lisa Alex Humphrey October 1st, 2007, 04:51 PM BHphotovideo (one of many reputable online places) has a Cavision 82mm screw in type for $199. They also have the JVC 0.82x Zoom Through Wide Angle Converter Lens for Fujinon TH16x5.5BRMU Lens for $509. Never seen either one in person, but I trust the JVC one more. But if it's only a couple shots, then it doesn't matter too much. ......maybe try local phtogoraphy shops and look for a wide angle adapter/filter for 82mm or lrager (difficult, most will be 52mm for 35mm style lenses) but you might luck out. Better idea.........If it's a short duration, maybe check into renting at far better 13x Fujinon lens (super wide) for the weekend for $150 - $200 or so. The 13x Fujinon lens is better than the stock lens and adapterand would ever dream of being. Phil Balsdon October 2nd, 2007, 02:51 PM Century Optics / Schneider have a .7 or .7/.5 for the Fujinon 16 X. A little more expensive but good quality. http://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1085&IID=1362 Phil Balsdon Lisa Bennett October 2nd, 2007, 02:57 PM Thanks for the guidance on this. Since it's only a couple of shots I think the adapter/filter version will work out. I'll check into what I can find. Thank you Lisa Adam Oas October 2nd, 2007, 05:58 PM I've got the .82 jvc adapter. It's pretty rare that i ever take it off. Highly recommended. |
