I am using Vegas 7 and want to export my HDV project (60i) back to tape with my Canon XH-A1. However, I can't seem to get this to work. Has anyone exported footage from their editing system back to their Canon? If so, what settings do I need on my cam to make this work?

I confess that I have never actually tried it, but in my seldomly-used copy of Vegas 7 ( I mostly use Premiere Pro) you can:

1. go under "tools" tab

2. See tab "Print Video to HDV Tape"
Here it looks like you can export video to the cam
