Is any difference in quality when it comes to "Cineform HD export" vs "Cineform M2t"? What benefits does one have over the other? Obviously I'd like to keep my final copy with the best quality possible.

CineForm HD export to wavelet CineForm files. CineForm M2T export only works on PPro 1.5.1, it is MPEG exporter, and therefore lower quality. The CineForm M2T export has been a thorn at our side, as we try to find the engineering dollars and time to fix it for CS3 and PPro2.0. We now have the new MPEG encoding license, and completing the engineering now.

So, basically what you are saying is that is that Cineform HD export would be the way to go for a final copy, if compared to CineForm M2T?

Absolutely. CineForm HD is an ideal mastering format.

David,
I'm still looking at M2T export to tape as a quickie means of archiving and exhibiting a project. Do you have any ball park estimate of when you will have that functionality available for CS3?
Thanks
