Here is another SDE we just showed tonight at the reception. Two cameras, all shots handheld or on monopod by my wife and I. Cameras are Sony Z1's, with Citidisk. The bride and groom are actually wedding photographers, and didn't want any wedding day preparations, so we started shooting at the cermony site. This is their timeline:
12:00pm start photo session
3:30pm ceremony

Upon completion of ceremony, we drove to the reception, unloaded projector, sound system, playback deck, and laptop.
5:00pm Set up playback system for reception. Started to download files on laptop. The Citidisk creates a separate file every time record is paused, so I throw all clips on the timeline and render out as one long clip, which takes about 5 minutes for 30 minutes of footage.

I finish editing at 6:30pm, eat dinner, then wait for our time to play the show since we don't have to shoot the reception on this particular wedding.

I used to sprinkle our shows with random black and white clips, but my wife hates that. The look is dated. Instead, we try to work on camera composition, timing, and capturing emotion.

After looking at it again just now, I realize that there should be more close-ups and cutaways during the ceremony section. The lighting was also fluctuating quite drastically during the entire time but we tried our best. Any other suggestions for improvement?

Love the music, how did you get such a smooth rotating shop over the brides dress? some form of crane+head?

No crane or steadicam devices were used in this video. The dress shot was hand held using both hands cradling the camera. Looks smoother because the clip is slowed 50%, and a fisheye attachment is on, minimizing shakiness. Overhead shots were done with an extended monopod.

No 35mm adaptors were used for DOF stuff.

Shooting this wedding was very difficult. Since the couple are photographers, all their photographer friends jumped into the photo session/ceremony for fun. We had to shoot amongst and between 8 photographers from all different angles! No matter where we went, there was a photographer in the background. Editing it was definitely a challenge. BTW All of those photographers threw that flower shower at the very end.
