Just doing some tests with the A1...mostly in my buddies house where ill be filming later. Had to see how his house works in the daylight and wanted to play with the A1's DOF more. His house allows me to backup quite a bit. Everything indoors was shot with available light.

Kyle, two things:

1. People are much slower to answer posts in this section than they are on other forums so a little patience is needed.
2. People post test footage a lot in these forums and if there is no specific purpose to it (from the viewer's point of view), unless there is something interesting or unique about it, there's not a lot to say. Your shots look good and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your project.

ditto what steven said...if you provide a context for what you're testing for, you're more likely to get feedback.

my guess is you're testing pre-sets? maybe for skin tone? dunno for sure though....

I agree with Steven and Meryem. You have to be more precise,

Sometimes I post footage for other people to see and get ideas, so I don't expect to get replies or answers.

I thought that was what you had done.

One thing that you provably know by now is that it is easier to control the lights at night.

If you were trying to achieve a film look, good lighting control is basic.

With white walls it is hard to control lighting. Add to that sun light and it is even harder. IMHO

Yea I figure for certain things that work well I can use available light and one of my lowel's as an accent light. In circumstances it wont work like that ill have to get rid of the brightest source of sunlight, and then use the lowel to light everything. Getting them to match will be tough but im sure it'll work out fine. Thank goodness for CTB gels...phew.
