Does anyone have a way around the Mercalli stabilizer software bug error #3 in Liquid?
Their fix of moving the timeline curser into the clip does not help.

I am editing HDV and just purchased the software today.

Paul,

You'll probably get more info over on the Avid Liquid forum on avid.com/exchange. Search for: New video-stabilizer, as plug-in for Liquid, also for HDV. There is a pretty long string on this plug-in and the error message that you described.

Cheers

Thanks David,

I found out that it works in Pal but NTSC there is a bug that has been reported to Avid.

David ProDAD just sent me a Beta update that is not on the market yet to try. It has a NTSC switch that they say solves the problem. My machine is backing up now but I will try in a hour.

The beta version is working.

The beta version is working.

That's really weird.

There is a patch that fixes it. Version 1.0.8 fixes it. They are still looking into the exit problem (exit dialog stays and finally presents the Terminate button) and trying to get Pinnacle Germany's input.

I just bought it yesterday. Waiting for my final registration code. The demo works marvelously with helmetcam footage.

Correct George 1.0.8 is the version I am using and it works great in Liquid 7.2.

Just an fyi, 1.0.8 works great until you add GPU Crossfade. Workaround is to stabilize, fuse and then cut.
