Wouldn't capturing HDMI out with Blackmagic Intesity from a DSLR blow away most prosumer video cameras?

If a newer Intesity card could capture at higher resolution, a DSLR sensor could really capture 2K, right?

Of course by the time you buy new DSLR and nice lenses, you're already up to $3-5,000 anyways which is where the better HD prosumer video cameras are selling.

Too bad I can't add HDMI out to my old DSLR!!!

you didn't read the fine print.

"My only disappointment would be that there didn't seem to be a way to display the image without any shooting information (except when magnifying), this means that the default display (top image below) is only using 74% of screen width (theoretically, given aspect ratio differences this could be 84% without the status lines at the bottom)."

Great for studio photography but not for video.

Also, I can't find any reference anywhere to the frame rate of Live View - I'd be surprised if it was a full 24-30 frames a second, since that would be overkill for it's intended use.
