A client has a few tapes recorded in 720p60 from an HD250 that he wants me to capture. He does not have the camera they were shot with.

Can my HD100U play these tapes for capture as 720p60 in AIC or DVHScap, or will I need an HD200/250 to transfer the footage?

Yes. The HD 100 can play back 720/60p. It just cannot record 60p to tape.
I did a project with a an HD 200 rental 4 months ago and it worked like a charm.

Cheers.

Edit: To clarify, my HD 100a worked like a charm digitizing 60p.

David

When you play 720p60 in an HD100Ua, can you see video on the viewfinder and fold out screen?

On my nine zillionth search I found the answer to my last question (actually, first one too).

And the answer is - Yes.

Thanks
