Chris Hurd September 20th, 2007, 10:10 PM Funny, that was just on the other night... talk about an actor who's come quite a long way! Barlow Elton September 20th, 2007, 10:23 PM Agreed, but he'll always be Spicoli to me. Btw, thanks for posting those pics. I love the gory details. Eric Stemen September 20th, 2007, 10:59 PM thanks for posting photos. Mark Williams September 21st, 2007, 11:10 AM Absolutely beautiful. I assume that it has an alloy exterior and not plastic? Also on the AV processor photo it says HD to SD conversion. I am confused I thought it would not do SD output. Barlow Elton September 21st, 2007, 12:09 PM Absolutely beautiful. I assume that it has an alloy exterior and not plastic? Also on the AV processor photo it says HD to SD conversion. I am confused I thought it would not do SD output. If I'm not mistaken, it will do SD output via HD-SDI. Edit: I should've said "SDI" because the port is switchable between standards. Chris Hurd September 21st, 2007, 12:11 PM There's also a standard def A/V output jack. It's a 10-pin connector supporting S-video output as well. Piotr Wozniacki September 21st, 2007, 12:18 PM I've been wondering...If you select DV as the DR60 drive format, it will record DV *EVEN* when you're actually recording HDV to tape.*** Now - with the DR60 apparently compatible with the EX1's i.LINK (at 25Mbps CBR) - would it also write DV, thus providing the downconvertion some people are missing so much on the new machine? ***Disclaimer: I've never actually tried this; it's what I hear/read somewhere about the DR60 uses with the V1. |
