View Full Version : Trouble finding "Protest" audio clips

I need to find some Vietnam era protest audio, and haven't had a bit of luck. It doesn't have to be very long, maybe 15 to 20 seconds. Possibilities would include chanting at marches (1,2,3,4 - what the hell are we fightin' for? / hell no! we won't go!) and the like, or a large group singing a protest song, or just an angry crowd. I'm not really interested in people speaking from a podium, but depending on who it was (the less famous the better in this instance) it may work.

If you have any ideas, I'm open to any and all...

Thanks,
Kevin

Thanks for the tip, Nate. I search through Archives.org for about 5 hours and I was able to find some useful video clips, but I couldn't find any audio clips of Vietnam protest crowds. The video clips had great scenes of the marches, but there was voice over commentary throughout and they dropped the background audio out completely.

Any other ideas?

Thanks for the help. I was able to find some usable audio on Sounddogs.com. It's technically audio from an Iraq protest, but is sounds as though it could've been from the Vietnam era.
