So here's an intriguing question from my warped little psyche. Since we have limited methods for HD content delivery (Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD being part of the problem), I was wondering if anyone has conformed their footage for use on the Apple TV?

I'm working in PP2, using Cineform as an intermediate codec, and was thinking of rendering my final output as a 1280x720 H264 QuickTime file for transfer to one of the little buggers. Any comments?

I routinely do it with XDCAM HD material. Looks pretty good on my HDTV set.

1280x720 for 24fps. If you go with a higher frame rate, the material has to be 960x540. I have my AppleTV set to output 1080i and it looks pretty good at normal viewing distance.
