Let me preface this by saying that I'm very impressed with the 32-bit jump that Vegas made. That improvement alone is worth far more than the price for me.
Now on to the topic at hand... BUGS!
I'm sure many of you have come across some bugs as well, but here are a few that I've already come across:
1) the Film Grain plugin: after rendering a file that used the film grain plugin in my output effects plugin chain, things turned crazy... black frames galore, chunks of the image would randomly cut in and out... I'm surprised I didn't have a seizure while watching.
2) large JPEG files: my timeline had about a dozen JPEG images that were 4288 x 2848... crashed every time I tried to render the project.
3) random exits: I've already seen that others have experienced this one... just seems to randomly exit while you're in the middle of working on a project.
This may be a good place for others to post the bugs that they have run across so that Sony can have a comprehensive list of fixes they need to make for the next update (which will hopefully come soon).
