After using Aspect for a little over a year, and using cineform support when needed, I started to think of a world where software works and support really helps.
What crossed my mind was a cineform NLE that would do all the basic editing like all the rest, but really work (well). And while we're at it, a nice trouble free work flow from my HD100 to DVD encoding (BR and HDDVD too). Of coarse it would support all my groovy plugins and PSD files for menus. 99% of my editing I only use the cineform fx anyway, and if you added some basic diffusion tools I'd dump Magic bullet too. I use AE so I could use that if needed....
What do you say guys, I would have no problem paying 1k+ for a cineform NLE cuz I know it would work and if it didn't it would be fixed. But remember to allow for your different codex tiers, so one could start with the aspect codex and move up when needed, but all the time using the great cineform NLE, on a PC or Mac.
Do you need a deposit from me to get started?
Back to reality.....opening PPro2 to get back to work.....bummer
