I have both mp4cam2avi and mp42aviedit but neither of these programs seem to allow for a quick resize from 1280x720 to 720x480/640x360.
Is there a program that will do this quickly out there? I like to capture all my stuff in HD but I've been having a hard time down sizing it in order to edit and release on the web.
Thanks!

Hi James,
I would first convert to avi with Mp4cam2avi then use Virtualdub (freeware) to downsize to 640X360 or whatever resolution you want, it will not be fast but I think it's the easiest way to do it.
good luck!

That would take way too long... are there no speedy programs like MP4CAM2AVI?

James,
I have not seen such software anywhere, one site that has tons of info on video processing is www.videohelp.com check it out.

It really is not possible to downsize rapidly. Mp4cam2avi simply modifies the headers in the stream which is why it's fast. But to downsize requires the recalculation of each pixel in each frame. As Manuel said, VirtualDub is the best for this.
If you don't want the flexibility of VirtualDub, then PocketDivx http://www.pocketdivxencoder.net is quite a fast application that allows resizing and is simple to use.

Perhaps erightsoft SUPER might do this in one step? It is a good program so it is worth downloading anyway.
