since there are some situations where to rely ONLY on the FS (with no Backup Tape or P2 media left) I wonder if other users rely on the FS "alone"...

Any crahs? Corrupted files? How stable are the FS in "the field" working?

I used to rely on my FS4, exclusively. After a number of random dropouts on sessions lasting more than 45 minutes, that I had to reshoot(thank god I could reshoot), I no longer trust mine to be reliable.
