Can't speak for all, of course, but since upgrading to FCS 2 Friday, Compressor has not worked, even after two reinstalls after following Apple's troubleshooting suggestions. Compressor rejects attempts to submit any material for processing with a "Can't submit to Queue" error.
Search of the Compressor support forum at www.apple.com suggests that a number of people on Intel and PowerMacs are having the same problem. These seems to be no one fix that works . . . some have had to wipe their system drives.
The problem seems to lie in the set up of the qmasterd process.
I be interested to know if anyone else has had a similar problem and/or if they found a solution.
