I was filming today with my 16X9 wide angle lense for my Z1 and noticed that the anti glare coating was scuffed most likely from my shirt. It isn't noticable on the footage and it is not a scratch. Does anyone know if there is a substance or anything to repair the scuffs?

In the future you might try a micro-fiber lens cleaning cloth instead of your shirt.

If you're going to wipe your lens with your shirt, at least be careful to avoid your buttons. :-)

Disposable lens wipes work, too, but some of them leave a film on the lens surface.

If nothing else, get into the habit of keeping a filter on the lens as much as possible. That way if you really do have to resort to using your shirt you're only going to abuse the replaceable (but still not cheap) filter.

As for the coating on your lens, you'd have to repolish the glass and have a new anti-reflection coating deposited in a special vacuum oven.

ya I guess I'm going to just buy a filter to go over the lense.
