I'm sure I've asked this before but I still haven't solved this problem.
We usually have three to four HD projects concurrently going on three FCP systems totaling about 6TB's. We rent a DVCProHD or HDCam deck for I/O so when projects are completed we back up and keep the data on inexpensive 1TB FW800 drives.
Is there software available to automate [as much as practicable] backing up data at the folder level that will continually back up only whats changed?
I have SuperDuper which is great for cloning a boot disk but doesn't help manage data at the folder level. I was also holding out hope that FCP server might alleviate this problem but it doesn't appear to be available [and I'm not sure I want to be the first on the block to try it].
So any advice would be great appreciated.
