Today I was making a search over HD home video recorders, and I found this:
http://www.nanosyncs.com/bonsai.html
Of course this is far from being a home device, but I thought it might be an interesting tool to pair with an HDV camera, like the Sony or Canon, and get a 4:2:2 recording from them.
Do you think that might work?

Nice,
How much, and can it be bought in the states?
This seems like quite the portable capture solution for 4:2:2 using lossless huffman.

Today I was making a search over HD home video recorders, and I found this:

According to the description it appears to be a standard-definition recording device...?

Kevin, after a second look, I believe you're correct. Oh well, I just scratched that off of my want list.

Yes, you are right. Sorry I missed the missing HD data.
Problem was I had googled for HD, so I assumed the results I got were all so.
There's another model from same manufacturer which is for HD, but it's large and far from portable.
