Hi!
My cam: Canon HV20, 24p mode
I ripped my cassettes with AspectHD into 24fps (pulldown, progressive) but can't work with them in AfterEffects...on one file i get a strange error message, the other video can be viewed on the preview screen, but then i get strange lines all over.
To top it off, when starting AE i get a nvidia message.
just check it out on this screenshot i took :)
For your information and to clear things up: the video which gets those weird lines on the preview screen isn't getting any error-message, but the other one.

PS: Some german guys at slashcam.de suggest that i shouldn't work withaspect hd, but use premiere and do the pulldown afterwards...hm,...whats better
Is aspect hd's pulldown to 24fps conversion interfering with AE?

as to the Nvidia msg.... do you have the latest driver set?

Removing pulldown before compression an storage is best. The AE CS3 fix, with any luck will be out later today.

Will the AE CS3 fix mean I'll be able to restore the default AE importers and undo the CTRL+SHIFT thing?

Yes, that is correct.

Ok, i resolved that nvidia problem (seems like my recently "for bioshock" released driver wasn't all that "new"...so i dlded the standard drivers and it worked).

Could you tell me when that "fix" is released? Thanks :)
