I want to take a minute to thank JVC and their service department for fixing my HD100. Even though the camera started to have problems just past the warranty period, JVC stepped up and fixed the problem. It took several trips to JVC to get it right, but in the end they got it right.
The best thing is that now I can capture footage in FCP and not have timecode breaks!!!!
The camera still has some slight SSE under tricky lighting conditions, but it is managable right now.
I want to also give a BIG THANKS to Scott Cantrell at Texas Tapeworks where I purchased the camera. He was very helpful in the whole process and knew just who to talk to at JVC so that the problem could be resolved. He really went above and beyond the call!!
I can't say enough how much I would anyone looking at a camera to consider purchasing from Scott and Texas Tapeworks.
