I haven't worked on Liquid for a while now. Before it used to work and I burned many DVDs with this very same system. Now when I go back to Liquid because I need to burn a quick DVD it no longer sees my DVD burner, the same one it uses to see and burned many DVDs with before. Any ideas of what could be wrong?
Using XP on a laptop.
Thanks.

And the funny thing is that this is the first time I come back to Liquid since I switched to Final Cut Studio. Maybe it's just one more sign that I didn’t the right thing in switching. I'm mean, there's no explanation why Liquid doesn't see my burner. Every other program in my laptop sees it. I can play DVD movies and all too. But Liquid won't see it. I checked the manual and nothing either.

Michael, there have been a few posts in the Avid support forum about DVD burners as yours is. Post your question there for a better response. It if were Liquid 5, I know in general how to get support, but they changed the DVD engine for better compatibility in the V6 range. It should just work. Check at http://www.avid.com/exchange/forums/54/ShowForum.aspx and someone like Lew or David might be able to answer this morning.
