My record button on the top handle is acting up. When pushed in it slides to the right a little and gets stuck in the down position. Did one of the sound guys break it trying to put shoe accessories on it? It never did it before last weekends shoot...or is this a common thing?

This has recently started happening to mine, but I just got in the habbit of pressing it on the "left side" and it works fine. I don't use that button all that much, so its not a huge concern of mine to send back in to canon right now.

Mine is doing this as well. Bugging me enough to want to send it back asap.
