Has anyone ever thought about using a Macbook as a DTD drive? The advantages I see are its price, the fact that it doubles as a monitor, and the fact that another importing phase is negated by recording directly to the internal drive.

I also recently stumbled across this: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/ModBook
Would a touch-screen modified Macbook such as this essentially do the job of a decent focus monitor, live feed screen, DTD drive, and portable editing system? The thing seems pretty tough; It's got a 13.5" screen with a resolution high enough to display ProHD content AND replaceable batteries. The price really isn't that much more than the Focus HD100 drive, but here you get a monitor as well.

What are your thoughts on this option? Would it even work? What are some of the benefits and drawbacks of such a system?
