A friend of my wife asked me to shoot her wedding yesterday. "Oh, crap, I'm not ready" is all I thought (remember just two months ago I was awarded first prize on this forum for 'The worst images ever from an HD200'). So yesterday, after scurrying through the loose and falling-out pages of my JVC manual again, I finally learned how to save a couple of Tim's settings. This shot was taken with his DSC CDM28 Chart. Not bad for "just for research" settings..

Maybe now I've upped my personal best to 'Second to worst.'

Hey, that's progress in my book... Thanks Tim. Maybe I'll post some of the 'Low-Light' late night dancing shots once I capture them.

The colors look great, but you framed the shot a bit high IMHO.

BTW, I've actually been to Palo Alto for equipment training. It was back in the early 80's. Some great memories from those 2 weeks.

Agree totally Greg. I posted it mainly for color, not composition. I'll try for composition next year.. ; )

Equipment training? Now there's an idea... I wasn't joking about the pages falling out of my manual
