This story says it's supposed to ship in September.

Of course, there's a difference between when something "starts shipping", and when you can get ahold of it. Only way to know is to contact your dealer and see what the real story is.

Keep in mind - it's a 1080 (or 480) cam - it doesn't have 720 - if that matters to you...

Angel,
The point Shawn brings up is important; the HPX2000 & 3000 cameras do not shoot VFR or variable frame rates and cannot over/under-crank. Many have assumed that because the imager in the HPX3000 is 2.2MP that it will be the "P2 Varicam", but it's not. However it will create amazing, high resolution, ultra-clean imagery, just not 720p and no VFR.

The HPX2000 can do a limited bit of overcranking if you conform the footage in post to a new timebase; you can import a 60p sequence into a 30p or 24p timeline and get some slow motion out of it that way.
With the 3000 it's more limited; you could put a 30p sequence into a 24p timeline but that's about it...
