First I was curious if you can use a device like a wired remote and especially a firestore dte connected to a camera while using a steadycam/arm off the sled?

If it has to be connected which I think may be the case can you connect the firestore to the bottom of the indiacam pilot in place of some weights or is there a better place to mount it? what about if I wanted to put a larger screen say a 7inch and a firestore on the bottom of the sled is that possible or do I need a different sled and if so any good recommendations that work with the indicam arm?

Thanks

Chris,

FYI, it's Indicam not Indiecam (kind of like Steadicam not Steadycam). Just though we should clarify that.

Are you talking about having a wire coming from an external source or would the firestore etc. be on the sled?

ideally the firestore and monitor would both be at the bottom of the sled and camera ligh/wireless receiver on top.

Chris,

How about the monitor and battery in front and the firestore in back?

The slots in the Indicam PILOT sled's bottom plate could be used with some kind of adaptor to allow for balancing - you know, moving things closer or further from the post.

We just ordered a 5.8 (16:9) monitor to test with. It should arrive in a couple of days so when we get it we will try some different configurations to see how things work out.
