Hello all,

I want to get my wife a camera to keep her from using my cameras (sony hdr-hc1, sony hvr-a1u and canon xh-a1). I'm looking at the Samsung SC-D372, Panasonic PV-GS80, JVC GR-D750, and the Canon ZR800. All our under $250 which is my limit. Which of these is the best for complete auto use. All she is going to do is turn it on and start recording. It will be used mostly to record the kids playing and stuff like that.

Thanks in advance for insight,
Joe

Before I get yelled at, I know there is already a "which camera to buy" sticky, but I felt this was different. All the suggestions in that sticky are 'good' cameras and not 'cheap'.

From my experience I would go for the Panasonic.
I used a Panasonic GS200, it's not that bad, I don't know if the GS80 is 3CCD also.
