This is the first outdoor test footage I shot with my A1/M2. I can't tell you how much I'm loving this adapter.

I shot at 1080/24F at default settings with the RedRock rails and follow focus, carrying the whole thing around like a baby since I don't have a spiderbrace yet. On the adapter I used a 50mm Nikon lens. I edited in Vegas 7 and there was no color correction. The only adjustments made were to brightness and contrast.

The file is at 720p and is 168 megs, so please Right-Click and Save As. If you're on a PC, I highly recommend watching with VLC Player as Quicktime tends to wash out the colors.

Some nice artistic footage - great for a music video feel

Especially because you carried it around - it worked in this setting - I think the color was great - did you use a preset from the ones here?

Hey Blake... nice footage! May I ask what your workflow was for exporting it to .mov?

Thanks a lot. I actually kind of forgot I had shot the footage until I was cleaning up my hard drive, so I decided to piece it together so I could delete the m2t's, and I was pretty pleased with the results. Kind of a happy accident.

Trish...I would have preferred a spiderbrace, but it was kind of fun just carrying it around like that. I didn't use any presets. Just stock, though I did alter contrast/brightness in post.

Deke...I converted the m2t's to Cineform and edited in Vegas 7. I rendered out to an uncompressed mov file and then used Quicktime Pro to export the mov using H.264. It's an extra step, yes, but I think the results are well worth it.

Thanks for watching.
