That software was made by Alain Bellon, a frequent poster of the DVinfo.net forums. I beta-tested his software. It's no surprise he built that in with special regard to our 180-degree plight :)

does it deinterlace before rotating as well? It's always problem to rotate 180 degrees because You may want use interlaced footage to create slow motion. So you have to plan it carefully or use proxy footage.

Yeah, I beta-tested it as well. It is a great piece of software for the money. The bloom feature is quite awesome.

I use Adam's Flip plugin for Vegas -- works great :)

Yes, Rena, you're incorrect, sorry :) We're referring to software that has a 180 degree rotation function built-in with specific regard to 35mm adapters.

Acheiving DOF with software involves time-consuming and complicated rotoscoping by hand.

Thanks for the clarification, Vegas can flip any which way without any problems. I won't be needing that software I guess.

There is much more to this software than 180 rotation, that is a smaller part. It is for advanced realtime colour correction, outside your NLE. It has some fantastic features, I just wish there was a demo as i'm quite happy with Magic Bullet at the moment. One other thing - not sure of it's effectivness - is the following DOF feature quoted from their website "There is an added defocusing control that lets you center a defocusing disc anywhere on the image so you can produce a pseudo DOF effect and direct the eyes of your viewer to the point of interest."

Sounds interesting, very interesting.

Look for Adam's Flip plugin for Vegas -- you get better preview window workflow with it over the default Vegas tools. Renders are shorter, as well.
