help needed with lcd monitor
i have a legacy tft-lcd. it has an s-video input and thats it. how do i hook up power it? Any help would be appreciated.
anyone? This lcd-tft monitor was used as a car monitor.
That's not S-video. It's the same format of connector as S-video but it's not S-video so don't send S-video to it. One of those pins is power and one is ground.
what will i need to do to hook it up?
You might need to go to Radio shack and get the female car converter, and run it to a 12 v battery - take one from a rechargeable flashlight.

I would be careful before hooking wires up at random. There are six there I believe. You didn't give any background about what you do or don't have to go along with your monitor. When I've bought LCD monitors they came with a matching "S-video style" plug that had a small wiring harness that included the necessary control box (very small sealed box in the harness) that let you change from input 1 or 2, let you flip the picture, etc.
You should contact the seller, and/or Legacy. |
id do have the wire adapter.. converts the s-video looking cord into audio left and right and the power wires.
