I have been working on the Telecine converter route for about 1 month now, off and on (more off because of being busy). Yes, it is a great GG - cheap as can be and very little lite loss - the only problem is the size, so it needs to be cut. I took the $70.00 loss on the macro +10 because of the colour abberations and blurring around the edge - live and learn. I have an achromat now that work, but I really need a descent condenser to get rid of the hotspot. Right now I get a great image, nice and crisp (using my other spinning mylar GG), but vignetting because of the hotspot, even when zoomed in close.

I myself have been looking for a cheap bayonette mount for my device - charity shops and the like.
