More Letus Experimentation
I've gone back to the places I shot my first test footage and, armed with a better understanding of things -- and a new tripod head -- I've done some more shooting. See here: http://vimeo.com/900213
Ironically, I've been using both a cheap Tokina 28-200mm f/3.5 lens, and a Canon 85mm f/1.2 L that cost me $750 used. The 85mm is pretty amazing, what with its approximately 1 foot deep DOF at f/1.2 that you can move smoothly from 1 meter in front of you to about 15 meters away. But I also have grown to like using the Tokina, and I can see myself purchasing a higher quality wide angle telephoto in the future. I'll tell you one thing, it's going to be hard to justify ever unscrewing this Letus from my XH-A1. I just love how everything looks through it. Now I guess I have to stop experimenting and get going on the real projects for which I purchased the thing in the first place . . . |
Hey, I liked that footage much more than the previous post... Seemed to have a better flow...
