The "TEARS IN THE RAIN" website for this independent feature has now been restored and can be found at :-
www.tearsintherain-movie.com This project has been shot on the JVC GY-HD100/P+S TECHNIK MINI35-400 combination. The trailer is here :- http://www.cinemascorestudios.com/tears/trailer.mov The original Myspace page is no longer active. |
Bob, fantastic.
The trailer looks really nice, any chance to upload it at a higher res? What CP settings were used, if you know? |
Oleg.
I would have to ask Barish the director about that but I'll certainly let him know. The Mini35 origination looks good in a cinema projected electronically on the big screen. Off-topic, in the times of the former Soviet Union there was a projector development called the Lazer Kinescope. It was apparently successful in B/W but colour was still being sorted out, then it sort of just went away. Did it go anywhere or was it a developmental dead-end? |
Have the film been shot on tape or HDSDI to computer?
(Bob, sorry for off topic, I will find out in regards to the development.( |
Oleg.
The film has been shot onto tape. It is not my project. I have only been providing assistance with the camera, the Mini35 and lenses. |
Furthur to my post above, the site is now "404 error" again and not accessable.
