Landscape study using Letus Extreme and EX1
Very different from my last short as the barely features any people. I just wanted to show that these adaptors can be used beautifully for just capturing landscapes. It's not just about shallow DOF.
On my blog which is on my website. |
I have regraded it Black and White. Works better

Phil- I assume you are referring to "Dugeness". WOW Looks fantastic. The B&W really makes sense. Love the sliding pebbles shot. What are you finding to be your three top lenses? Also, should I sell my HD100 and move on to the EX1?

Hi Hayes
My number one lens is my zeiss t2 50mm macro after that i use about 4 other lenses. 20mm sigma f1.8, zeiss 85mm f1.4, nikon f2 105mm dc and my 28mm nikon f1.8 |
Phil,
Having had my Letus 35 for only 1 week now, I must say I love using a Nikon 35-70MM zoom Macro 2.8. I also have used a Nikon 50mm 1.4 and am looking to try something really long like a 135mm. Have you had the chance to use one that long? The one I have access to is a F4. Love your work and am wondering about longer lenses. |
Looks great Phil. Fantastic flow and images.
I don't see any vignetting in the shots. Does your EX1 has the vignette problem at all? Has the Letus fix the problem? I'm thinking of a EX1/SGPRO combo myslef but the vignette thing is concerning me. |

When you say it's fixed, you mean the new ones don't come with it anymore?
What's needed to get edge to edge sharpness with a 35mm adapter and what was changed in the Letus to reach that? |
there was an alignment issue. Apparently new ones don't have that problem.
it's a new achromat for the letus and another piece of glass too. the results are amazing |
