Basic Letus extreme questions
 

I've been wanting to get an adaptor, and have a few questions that hopefully you guys can answer.
1- How does the Letus attach to the camera? I shoot with a Canon H1 and and an A1. Does the letus merely screw on at the end of the lens like you would a filter? In the case of the H1, do you remove the lens and connect the letus, or does it go on the end of the lens itself? Would the same unit fit both cameras?
2- Lenses-I shoot still photography with Nikons, and have a few lenses. i assume the 50mm f1.8 would be fine, but what abot a fast zoom like the 17-55 f2.8, or the 70-200 f 2.8? Or do you nee to stick with primes? Also, I see that you can order the letus set up for either Nikon, canon or both? What would be the drawback of getting it for both?
3- Is the Letus extreme fairly easy to set up and use?
4- What rails are reccomended?

Currently the only way to connect the letus to both cameras is by screwing it onto the filter of the lens. This will change in time with an H1 relay to bypass the stock lens.

Just stick with one brand of lenses. You don't want to keep changing mounts, it's a pain. Your lenses are ok. Faster the better. Try and get f1.4 50mm and 85mm. Two of the best basics out there. The zooms will work but the image probably won't be as sharp and of course they aren't as fast as primes, but they are as fast as you can get nikon zooms.

I would say essential, to protect your glass as they are only held on by your camera lens filter threads

The official Letus35 rails should be ready in the near future. These are designed based on much user feedback and are going to be VERY nice if I do say so myself. Hien and Quyen have come up with something I think people will be extremely happy with. But I won't spoil the surprise ;)
