is anyone using the SD MIX PRE D as audio interface to record with protools? i need a very simple audio and GOOD audio interface to record with two microphones inputs and at same time for ENG
works.

Why not get the SD USB interface, which basically has the same preamps and HQ A/D converters. IF your PTs version supports a third party interface. Other than that, SD make get preamps, but for non-portable studio work, there are other very good pres' available as well.
