Sony ECM-77BMP - wireless to wire
I have this mic - Sony ECM-77BMP - that I use with the Sony Wireless UWP-C1/K62.
The mic comes with a 3-pole minijack with a lock mechanism used on the Sony wireless system. Is there an adapter that I can use to convert the 3-pole into a XLR and "transform" the mic into a wire one and connect directly to a XLR with phantom power? Thanks Carlos |
Yes, any good audio retailer will have it or can get it for you. Trew, LSC, Coffey, etc. Maybe even B&H.
Not cheap. Dan |
Well I've never found any.
It has to be a Female 3-pole mini jack / XLR male |
I've googled by 1/8" and found this.
Ambient Products Microphone Power Supplies EMP Electret Microphone Power Seems that this will solve the problem. I'm not an english native and for me 1/8" does "not exist". I've always looked for 3,5mm. That's life Thank you Carlos |
Carlos:
I think this is what you need...Same power supply is shared by ECM-88 and ECM-77. I have no idea where a 3.5mm connection enters the equation, doesn't your ECM-77 terminate in a miniature 3-pin connection as show in the power supply below?
