PP CS6 indexing every time
I'm working on a large project and Premiere indexes all content very time, takes about a half hour. I've read several things on the web but there doesn't seem to be a good explanation. Anyone else have this problem and a solution?
Mac pro 2.93 Quad 24 Gbs memory working on a Internal 3GB drive Thanks |
Re: PP CS6 indexing every time
I'm on a PC, and still on CS4, but when this happened to me, I would clean the cache, in the preferences.
Once that's gone, close out Adobe. I would then go into the media cache files, and double check, and erase any of the CFA or or PEK files. Fire up PPro, and let it re-index. Just for good measure, close out, and fire up PPro once again. After that, you should be good to go.. |
Re: PP CS6 indexing every time
Tried it a couple of times and unfortunately it didn't work.
Thanks though! |
