printable PPro keyboard shortcut list?
I'm looking for a list of the most used keyboard shortcuts in premiere pro 5.5. I've read that I can call up my own customization list and transfer it to a document and print that, but the editing computer isn't attached to a printer or the internet.
Does anyone know of a list that I could print? thanks |
Re: printable PPro keyboard shortcut list?
specifically I'm wondering how to lock all the audio tracks...or all the video tracks...without having to click on each one?
also, how to select all the tracks without having to select each one individually. thanks! |
Re: printable PPro keyboard shortcut list?
To print the keyboard shortcuts:
1. Hold down Ctrl + Shift 2. Edit > Keyboard Customization 3. Click on the >>Clipboard button 4. Paste it into a text document and print. Locking tracks is not possible using keyboard shortcuts, but you can Shift+click on the track lock to lock/unlock all video or audio tracks in one go. The same goes for selecting tracks, Shift+click in the track header to select/de-select all video or audio tracks. There are keyboard shortcuts for selecting/de-selecting tracks; Look for "Toggle All Target..." in the Keyboard Customization dialog. (There are four of them.) |
Re: printable PPro keyboard shortcut list?
The Lightroom help page on Adobe.com (accessed through the help menu) has a full page dedicated to keyboard shortcuts. I would imagine the Premiere Pro 5.5 page has the same.
Checked and confirmed: Adobe Premiere Pro Help | Default keyboard shortcuts (CS5 and CS5.5) |

Re:PPro keyboard shortcut to a file !
By the way, is there a way to save the customized keyboard to save as a file, so that
we can exchange to other machines. Thanks in advance. Rajiv |
Re: printable PPro keyboard shortcut list?
On PC, the .kys file is located in the AppData folder, which is a hidden folder. You'll need to reveal hidden folders in your user folder to find the AppData folder. Once this is done, here is a standard pathway for locating the file:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\PremierePro\6.0 Look for the "Adobe Premiere Pro Custom.kys" file. Copy that to the same location on the destination computer. Let me know if you need Mac info instead. |
