OT -- free Switchers Guide to MC 5, 5.5, and 6
 

Any Premiere editor who is curious about Avid Media Composer who wants to try the free trial but does not want to hassle through the steep learning curve -- my new 236-page "The Switcher's Guide to the Media Composer" is FREE on Cyber Monday.

Remember if you can run OS X in 64-bit mode you can download V6. If you can only run in 32-bit mode, download 5.5. I'm running v6 under 10.6.8 with no problems.
