How to? Create the effect of making small pics into one large one?
I'm trying to figure out how to do the effect of having a bunch of small pictures of different people doing different things and then as you pull out on the images they become one large picture of something else like a logo. I'm working on CS5 Master and I though I remembered that there was a plug-in or filter that would automate this in past versions. I could be totally wrong about that though. Thanks for your help!!!

Look under the presets for PIP.

In Premier or AE? Or I could not be so lazy and look in both.

Did not find it in the PiP presets.

I don't know of any built in effects but I'm sure there are some plug-ins that would do this.
The long, manual way to do it would require breaking your image up in photoshop cutting it into many layers. Then import into AE and animate the layers individually. The trick is to place keyframes on your final, 'assembled' image first and then work backwards from that point taking the picture apart (rather than starting with pieces and trying to assemble them like a puzzle) |
