Capture Organization
Hey all.
I've got a 1TB external hard drive coming in this week, and I'm planning a cleanup of my desktop hard drive and am trying to optimize capturing in Premiere Pro CS3. I also use After Effects CS3. Does anyone have a specific setup for project folders, capture scratches, render space, etc? I just want my workflow to stop being so messy. I have hundreds of hours of footage that I would love to be able to put in subfolders in the capture folder, rather than scrolling through looking for old footage I want to reuse or bring into After Effects. Any tips or your current workflows would be great to hear about |

Thanks! Looking good.

Does anyone know where Premiere stores thumbnails?
If I have hundred clips or more, thumbnails refresh EVERY FRICKING time I scroll up or down. I have 2 gigs of RAM (there is more than 500 MBs always free, mostly a gig is free...) and my scratch disks are set to my RAID array. |
