M2T to AVI export issue

I am trying to export a finished movie from CS3 to an AVI file. I've tried both a IYUV from within Premiere as well as a HUFFYUV AVI. Both files export audio ok but the video renders black. The thumbnail is black and media player displays black. Any thoughts?
