The Potential of Muxing
Thank you Tim for sending the beta version of the Muxing App.
It is tiny, and the "muxed" file is even miniscule..It seems to offer alot of potential in processing, and space saving too. Since this is a beta version, I wanted to let you know that the second time I tried it, (using the identical files I used the first time) I got a warning notice: "Cant set <class trak> 1 of document 1of application "Quicktime player" to {1920 1080}" I feel that it is defaulting to the QT X of the snowLeopard rather than using QT 7 that the beta was designed for. I opened QT-7 so the beta app can use it.. but still get the message above. I know you are very busy, so no rush, I mainly wanted to report this to you as an (unofficial) Beta tester. |

Thanks for the feedback Carlton. I started writing that one in Leopard so I can change some code in it to force the use of Quicktime 7 instead of Quicktime X.
Quicktime X is still in its infancy (it is a rewrite and not an update to Quicktime 7) but hopefully sometime in the future it will be as capable as Quicktime 7. If anyone else wants to also beta test this app please PM me.
