My colleagues timings with the ethernet are rather odd because theoretically it should be around the same speed as FAM. Oh well.

Good to hear you are finding the FCP plugin useful. Are you using the SD cameras?

Unfortunately I don't use the Sony camera, yet :).
We saw a demo by Sony and Apple at the DGA yesterday. Jody Eldred, who we interviewed for episode 4 and 5 of "2nd Unit", presented some of hi incredible footage shot with a pre-production model of the F-350 and then we watched the workflow as presnted by Apple.
