Welcome and Thanks
Well, here we are. This small idea I had six months ago of helping the independent filmmaker through a small thread originally on DVXUser with Jarred and now with Chris on DVInfo has grown unbelievably and I want to take a minute in this new area to thank all of you for your interest that has made the industry sit up and take notice. When we have the ASC wanting us to be a part of their educational program, we must be doing something right and if it wasn't for the interest the hundreds of you so far have shown, we wouldn't be here. So here's the story. I have no idea what I'm doing moderating this board. I'm a television guy so Paolo's handling that. The only stipulation is that I want it to be your board not ours. Anything you need to know. Any guests. Anything that will help you make better productions goes here. Please keep it clean and observe the feelings of others in your coments. I truly believe this is an extended family with its squabbles and fights, smiles, laughs and cheers and that's what I think all of us can use at this point in our individual and collective carreers. So with that, again, Chris, thank you for your trust and belief, time and experience in putting not only this area together for us but for DVInfo in general. You're truly the future of filmmaking.
