Battery operated HD wireless transmitter suggestion
Hi,
CAn you guys recommend a reliable field wireless video transmission system for use with a drone mounted cam (possibly DSLR)? (see my thread just below: wireless focus control) Range should be around 200meters and inputs should include hdmi. A few selectable frequencies would be helpful too. I've spotted this one: Boxx TV***|***Revolutionise the way you work ...but it doesn't take hdmi in. Plus I'm sure it's veryyyyy pricey. Any input appreciated. Mikael |

Mikael,
You have checked the Cube HDMI encoder? CUBE-200 HDMI Encoder HDMI input, H264 via WLAN output, frequently used on flying drones. |

CUBE only covers 100 metres though (300 feet)

Thanx for that link...
Yep, that Cube sure looks interesting. 100 meters should be OK for us, if that's really the range though... Wifi connection is know to be 'temperamental' when used in not perfect conditions (aka flying, trees, hills, etc...) |
